“Working with the dying is like being a midwife for this great rite of passage of death. Just as a midwife helps a being take their first breath, you help a being take their last breath.”

Death Doula & End of Life

As a Certified Death Doula and End of Life Practitioner, I am here to be a pillar of support in the great rite passage of death, in however a person may need. There are many options and resources that are available in death care and planning that go unspoken. My mission is to be able to provide you with all the options so you can make the decisions that are most in alignment for you and that you feel deeply supported along the way.

At a young age, death always felt the most honest of experiences to me, intrigued that it is the one thing we all have in common, I began to reflect on what I would want for my own transition. Over the years, I have witnessed and have been apart of the grief that comes with losing a loved one. I have witnessed the entanglements that occur through end of life planning and have seen how capitalism has created chaos in such a potent and tender point of time in someone’s life. Through connecting with other Death Doula’s, working with patients in Hospice in companionship and 11th hour and moving through a certification process, I am inspired and determined to support people and their families in traditional deathcare practices rooted in integrity and compassion.

There are many facets to Deathcare provided for the dying and their families. To learn more and to establish what would best meet your needs, a free consultation is required to support you.
